John J. Cope
John J. Cope, licensed in 1993, is a graduate of The University of Texas School of Law where he received a Dean's Achievement Award in Insurance Law. He is a former senior real estate lending officer who specialized in residential interim construction. A seven-year felony prosecutor with the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office, Mr. Cope has extensive trial experience that includes non-death penalty capital murder. He currently concentrates his practice in the areas of title defense, mortgage lending transactions, debtor-creditor disputes, residential construction litigation, and commercial liability.
