Donald Shelton

Donald Shelton is a shareholder of the firm and has been practicing law in the Dallas-Fort Worth area since 1998, concentrating his practice in the trial and arbitration of commercial and residential construction law disputes, mechanic's lien laws, bond claims, dispute resolution claims, administrative law, commercial landlord/tenant disputes, homeowner association disputes, and title insurance defense.
Mr. Shelton also devotes a significant amount of his practice to transaction events associated with his clients such as construction contracts, leases, liens, purchase contracts, independent contractor agreements, subcontracts, bonds, deeds, deed restrictions, etc.

Mr. Shelton primarily represents developers, volume and custom builders, remodelers, commercial contractors and subcontractors, engineers and architects throughout Texas in various aspects of their business. Mr. Shelton is often a speaker and writer for seminars and publications for builder and remodeler associations on various construction industry topics, risk management, contracts, insurance, subrogation, warranties, etc.
