Donald Shelton

Donald Shelton has been practicing law in the Dallas-Fort Worth area since 1998 and concentrates his practice in the trial and arbitration of commercial and residential construction law disputes, mechanic's lien laws, bond claims, State-sponsored Inspection and Dispute Resolution Process claims, administrative law, commercial landlord/tent disputes, homeowner association disputes, and title insurance defense. Mr. Shelton also devotes a significant amount of his practice to transaction events associated with his clients such as leases, liens, purchase contracts, independent contractor agreements, subcontracts, bonds, deeds, deed restrictions, etc. Mr. Shelton primarily represents developers, volume and custom builders, remodelers, commercial contractors and subcontractors throughout Texas in various aspects of their business. Mr. Shelton is often a speaker and writer for seminars and publications for builder and remodeler associations on various topics, often teaching Texas Residential Construction Commission continuing education courses.
