Wilkerson, licensed since 1989, practices construction-related litigation, which includes claims arising from residential and commercial construction, construction contracting, surety bond and insurance coverage issues, mechanic's lien issues and professional liability. He also has personal work experience and project management experience in commercial construction. He was a member of the 1997-98 class of Leadership Arlington. He has lectured on contracting/liability issues to builder's organizations and to attorneys, including the Advanced Real Estate Law Course in 2001 in Houston on the Residential Construction Liability Act.
