The Bush Firm Attorneys

Firm Background

The Bush Firm is a Professional Corporation founded in 1985 with eleven attorneys concentrating their practice in the area of general commercial law with an emphasis on construction, real estate, title insurance defense, general commercial litigation, construction liens, and representation of businesses in all phases of their operations. The Firm has received an "A-V" rating in the Martindale-Hubbell legal directory, the highest rating possible, based upon the survey results from attorneys in the local legal community.

Our Clients: Our attorneys use their knowledge of the residential construction industry to provide high quality legal services to builders, remodelers, subcontractors, suppliers, developers, title companies and warranty providers in all facets of their businesses throughout Texas. The Bush Firm is General Counsel for the Home Builders Association of Greater Dallas and the Greater Fort Worth Builders Association and regularly conducts seminars and represents members and associate members of both Associations in various aspects of the construction industry.

Our Experience: All members of the Firm have intimate knowledge and experience in providing representation in all phases of the residential construction industry including mediation, arbitration and litigation of construction defect claims, land use, zoning, project development, entity formation, homeowner association issues, mechanic’s lien claims, and drafting, reviewing and revising all types of transactional documents. The Bush Firm was involved in the passage of the Residential Construction Liability Act and the drafting and passing of HB 730, the Texas Residential Construction Commission Act.

Our Philosophy: We are not only responsive and attentive to client needs in terms of results, but we also evaluate the client’s needs as a whole. This includes efforts to control costs while successfully providing necessary legal services. We believe in taking a pro-active approach when handling any matter, whether litigation or transactional, in order to expedite successful conclusions and reduce costs. To accomplish this goal, the Firm stresses each individual attorney's responsibility with respect to the tasks assigned to them. While multiple attorneys are not assigned to a client matter unless the tasks and needs of that client actually require the services of more than one attorney, there usually is more than one attorney that is fully apprised of the developments on any particular matter, ensuring a prompt response to any client inquiry or pressing matters developing in a case.
